The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, has charged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun to prioritize unity, discipline, and peaceful coexistence as the party positions itself for future electoral victories.

Speaking during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting on Friday, at the Ilerioluwa Campaign Office in Osogbo, Oyetola emphasized the need for party cohesion and urged aspirants vying for various political offices to view one another as allies rather than rivals.

2. El-Rufai, SDP Presidential Candidate Visit Aregbesola In Lagos

Former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 presidential election, Adewole Adebayo and SDP Chieftain, Jimi Lawal among others met former Minister of Interior. Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, in Lagos, on Thursday evening.

Although, details of the meeting were not provided as at the time of filing this report, sources hinted OSUN DEFENDER that the meeting may not be unconnected to the ongoing moves by some politicians to form a coalition in 2027.
