Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has warned civil servants against the mismanagement of state assets, noting that anyone caught will face the full wrath of the law.

This was as he cautioned those encroaching government land to desist, adding that anyone who built properties on illegally acquired government land will forfeit the properties.

2. Court Stops CBN, AGF From Opening Accounts, Remitting Allocations To Sacked APC Chairmen

A Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State capital, on Thursday, restrained the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Accountant General of the Federation, and the Attorney General of the Federation from opening Local government accounts for the sacked All Progressives Congress Chairmen in the state.

Justice Adefunmilola Demi-Ajayi, who gave the order, said the CBN, Accountant General of the Federation, and Attorney General of the Federation should not open any account for the sacked APC chairmen pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice for Interlocutory Injunction.

3. Osun Poly Rector Laments Staffing Challenges, Seeks Full Employment For Contract Staff

The Rector of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Dr. Sunday Adegoke, has appealed to the state Government to offer full employment to several contract staff of the institution, many of whom have served on part-time or contract terms for over 16 years.

Adegoke, who is the Chairman of the Committee of State Polytechnic Rectors in Nigeria, made the appeal on Thursday during a valedictory ceremony held in his honor at the institution in Esa-Oke.
