The Peoples Democratic Party in Atakunmosa West Local Government Area of Osun State has berated a former Special Adviser on Budget Matters during the administration of ex-Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Mr Gbenga Abiola, over what it described as a false and stage-managed defection to the All Progressives Congress.
The party, in a statement signed by its Atakunmosa West chairman, Elder Farodoye Olubunmi, on Saturday, said Abiola ceased to be a member of the PDP as far back as 2010 and had since aligned himself with the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, which later became the APC.
