Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has publicly cautioned fans and vendors against offering him unsolicited gifts after a bizarre encounter with a food vendor. In a humorous yet pointed Instagram video, the producer narrated how a vendor who gifted him a plate of nkwobi later requested that his top signee, Rema, perform at her event for free.
“Out of nowhere you give me free nkwobi that I didn’t ask for… Suddenly, you want me to return the favour — you’re asking me to give you Rema?” he exclaimed. Don Jazzy used the moment to reiterate why he’s wary of accepting free items, questioning the “exchange rate” of Rema for a meal.
Mr P Opens Up on P-Square Split
Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, has finally addressed the repeated breakup of the iconic P-Square music duo. In an interview on Cool FM Lagos, the singer stated that their decision to pursue solo careers was based on practicality and peace of mind.
“There’s a joy that comes with going solo. Please respect our decisions. We’ve tried it, it’s not working,” he said, urging fans to understand that their reunion just wasn’t sustainable.

Taking to social media, he wrote, “Miss my Queen every day,” a simple yet emotional tribute that reveals the lasting impact of her death. Earlier in May, Wizkid canceled several stops on his Morayo U.S. tour, reportedly due to emotional struggles tied to his grieving process.
At her Night of Tribute in 2023, the Grammy winner described her passing as “the deepest pain” of his life. The funeral drew a host of notable names from entertainment and business circles.
Jane Mena Reflects on Near-Divorce Over a Friend
Popular dancer and influencer, Jane Mena, has disclosed a near-divorce episode from 2019, just a year into her marriage. According to her, a conflict arose when she refused her husband’s plea to cut ties with a particular friend.
The disagreement escalated to the point that her husband contacted a divorce lawyer. Jane recounted, “Lawyer billed him huge asap and he started asking for discounted price… I shouted from behind, Lawyer, Abeg send your account details, I will send all the money.”
