1. Another Osun Federal Lawmaker, Ajilesoro Quits PDP

A member of the House of Representatives representing Ife Federal Constituency of Osun State, Hon. Taofeek Ajilesoro, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a letter dated Tuesday, July 22nd, and addressed to the Chairman of the party in Ilare Ward II, Ife Central Local Government, posted by his colleague, Hon. Oluwole Oke, on Facebook, Ajilesoro cited internal wrangling within the party as the reason for his exit.

2. 2027: Adeleke Declares Support For Tinubu, Jettisons Plan To Move To APC

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has formally declared his support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election.

This was as the governor said he won’t be leaving the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress.
