Olubadan: Makinde Approves Sept 26 For Ladoja’s Coronation
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved September 26 as the coronation date of Oba Rasidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The decision was reached after a meeting between the governor and the former governor at Ladoja’s Ondo Street, Bodija residence.
It marks Makinde’s first visit to the monarch since his return to Ibadan.
A former President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Chief Bayo Oyero, has been appointed Chairman of the Coronation Committee.
