A gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Kunle Adegoke (SAN), has claimed that Governor Ademola Adeleke’s visit to the United States will bring nothing positive to the state.

He noted that people waiting to see the impact of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s trip to the United States will have to wait forever.

OSUN DEFENDER reports that Governor Adeleke returned to Osun on Thursday after almost a month in the United States, where the governor claimed he went for a short vacation.

In a video obtained online, Adegoke, while addressing members of the APC during a consultation visit to Boripe Local Government on Saturday, said Adeleke only knows how to dance, adding that he has failed to properly utilise the large funds coming from the federal government.

The governorship aspirant, noted that despite the large funds coming from the federal government to the state, the current administration has not done enough to alleviate the sufferings of the people.

He said, “The federal government is pumping money into states, but our state governor, instead of looking for ways to make proper use of the money and invest in agriculture and other critical sectors, is dancing around.

“He danced from Osun to the United States. He is back now but if you are expecting something reasonable to come out from his trip to the United States, you are wasting your time.”

Adegoke urged members of the APC to work together to ensure victory at next year’s governorship election.

“The only thing we can do now is not to allow the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to get back into power”, he added.
