Adeleke’s Aide Applauds Resident As Osun Tops Complete Voter Card Pre-Registration
The Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Public Relations, Esther Olajide, has commended residents of the state for trooping out to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration exercise.
She noted that reports from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) about the turnout of Osun voters were encouraging and showed their readiness to further support the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke
OSUN DEFENDER reports that INEC on Monday announced Osun State as the leading state in the ongoing exercise, with an impressive 393,269 registrants, as over one million Nigerians completed their online registration in the first week.
The commission said Osun has 28.51 percent, closely followed by Lagos state which had 16.11 percent.
Hon. Olajide, however, reminded Osun residents that the physical registration is still ongoing, as this will enable them to have a permanent voter’s card.

She also urged those who have yet to collect their voter’s card to go to the nearest INEC office in their local government for collection.
Olajide said the only way for continuation of good works the administration of Governor Adeleke is doing in every nook and cranny of Osun state is for people to retain him in office beyond 2026 which can only be achieved through their voter’s cards.
