APC Appoints Ile-Ife-Born Politician As Director Of Administration
The All Progressives Congress (APC) had appointed Ile-Ife-born politician, Ayoola Olajolo, as the new Director of Administration at the Party’s National Secretariat.
Olajolo, a legal practitioner and public administrator, was appointed to replace the late Dr. Rauf Adeniji, who was also from Ile-Ife.
OSUN DEFENDER reports that Adeniji was abducted earlier this year and later confirmed dead in captivity.
A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, said, “Olajolo was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016. Between 1999 and 2003, he served as Secretary of Ife Central Local Government and subsequently as elected Chairman.
“Following his service in local government administration, Olajolo joined the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), where he further honed his expertise as a meticulous administrator and legal mind.
“His dedication, competence, and integrity saw him rise through the ranks to the enviable position of Assistant Chief Legal Officer, where he managed complex administrative and legal processes for the agency.”
“Mr Olajolo brings his experience in local government administration and diverse public policy perspectives to his new role as Director of Administration. He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative functioning of the National Secretariat, implementing innovative and efficient operational systems, managing human resources, and ensuring the seamless execution of the Party’s programmes and activities,” the statement noted.
