Delta Gov Aide Alleges Regional Bias In BBNaija Season 10 Outcome, Plans Legal Action
The Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has alleged that regional bias influenced the outcome of Big Brother Naija Season 10, claiming that first runner-up, Dede, was unfairly denied victory.
Reacting on his official X account shortly after the show’s finale on Sunday, Ossai accused the organisers of deliberately preventing another Delta contestant from winning after Kellyrae’s victory in the previous season.
“Dede was robbed by BBNaija organisers because Delta boy Kellyrae won last year’s season, so they didn’t want another Delta to win this year’s edition. She truly deserved the Big Brother Naija crown, not the second position. She ought to have been the winner, not because she’s from Delta, but because she made everyone who watched the show proud,” he wrote.
The aide further revealed plans to take legal action over alleged manipulation of the voting process, expressing disappointment in the results.
“I’ll be suing Big Brother Naija on behalf of Dede because the voting was rigged. I’m highly disappointed in this season,” he added.
Ossai insisted that Dede, who hails from Delta State, was the rightful winner of the reality show and should have been declared champion instead of Imisi.
