How Our Four Leadership Pillars Will Redefine Politics — ADC

The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, has declared that the party is determined to raise a new standard of political leadership in Nigeria through its four core pillars — character, competence, courage, and discipline.

‎Speaking during the inaugural meeting of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja on Tuesday, Mark said these values are non-negotiable and will serve as the guide for all members and leaders of the party.

‎He explained that the four pillars will not only guide ADC’s internal operations but also shape its political culture and decision-making process as it positions itself for the 2027 general elections.

‎According to him, ADC’s vision goes beyond the pursuit of power. The ultimate goal, he said, is to build a political legacy rooted in integrity and service — one that future generations can proudly inherit.

‎Mark also unveiled a new political blueprint for the party, emphasising that citizens’ welfare would remain at the centre of all its policies.

‎The blueprint, he added, is anchored on the “supremacy of rules over personalities, transparency through independent annual audits, and the prioritisation of merit above loyalty.”

‎He stressed that Nigerians are tired of empty slogans and cosmetic reforms, insisting that ADC’s new direction represents “a return to the fundamentals of good governance — where leaders lead by example and public trust is sacred.”
