Portable Blasts Babymama Ashabi For Disrespecting His Wife
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly called out his fourth babymama and Nollywood actress, Ashabi Simple, for allegedly disrespecting his wife, Bewaji.
The drama started after Ashabi shared a cryptic post on social media, which many fans interpreted as a subtle jab at Bewaji.
The post reportedly infuriated the “Zazuu Zeh” crooner, prompting him to release a strongly worded voice message warning Ashabi to desist from any form of disrespect toward his wife.
In the voice note, Portable expressed deep loyalty to his wife, Bewaji, whom he described as his backbone and the only woman who stood by him before fame.
He reminded Ashabi that without Bewaji’s support and approval, their relationship might not have been possible.
He said, “Don’t ever disrespect my wife, Bewaji. She is always minding her business. She was the only woman who stood by me when I had nothing. She is always satisfied with anything I give her, unlike you, who doesn’t appreciate me. Are you mad? Do you want Ogun to kill you?”
The singer further warned Ashabi to stay in her lane, stressing that Bewaji’s happiness remains his priority.
“If she didn’t approve you, you would not be with me today because her happiness is my happiness. You got pregnant and I accepted you. What else do you want? Stay in your lane,” he added.
