Don’t Be Misled by Distractors, Imo ADC Cautions Members Over Alleged Plot
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Imo State says it has uncovered a plot by individuals allegedly sponsored by external forces to distract and destabilize the party.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the State Publicity Secretary, Chief Macdonald Amadi, and made available to journalists, the party condemned the activities of those behind the plot in strong terms, describing them as illegal and unacceptable.
The statement warned that any meeting, gathering, or assembly held without the party’s official approval would be considered unauthorized and a violation of its constitution.
“Members involved in such activities will face disciplinary action, including sanctions, as provided in our constitution. We will uphold our integrity and stability,” the statement read.
The party, however, urged members to remain steadfast, disciplined, and united in pursuit of the ADC’s collective goals, stressing that the Imo chapter remains focused, strong, and on track despite attempts to cause division.
“We urge all members to remain steadfast, disciplined, and united in pursuit of our collective goals. The party remains focused, strong, and on track.”
