Gunmen Kill 4 In Fresh Attack On Benue Community
Gunmen have killed four people in Anwule village, Oglewu District of Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State.
The victims, according to witnesses, were hacked to death while working on their farms on Monday and Tuesday.
They also alleged that some persons were still missing after the attack, which devastated the village.
“They killed two farmers who were working on their farms yesterday (Monday) and another two today (Tuesday).
“As we speak, some persons are missing. Today, at about 5pm, the attackers also came into the village, but I’m yet to hear of any casualties.”
The chairman of Ohimini LGA, Adole Gabriel, confirmed the killings. Adole said the state government has deployed security personnel to the area after he reported the matter to the appropriate authorities.
