Just In: PDP Expels Wike, Fayose, Anyanwu, Others

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled the minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, its suspended national secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, and former governor of Ekiti, Ayo Fayose.

Their expulsion was announced on Saturday at the party’s national convention in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

Chief Olabode George, former National Vice Chairman of the party (South) moved the motion for the expulsion at the ongoing convention in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

Hon Samaila Burga, Chairman of the PDP in Bauchi, seconded the motion.
