Terrorists Abduct Pregnant Woman, Children, Others in Kwara
Terrorists attacked Isapa community in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State on Monday evening, abducting a pregnant woman, 10 children, two nursing mothers, and several others.
The raid reportedly occurred around 6pm on Monday, November 24, 2025, when an estimated 20 to 30 armed bandits stormed the community, firing sporadically and driving a large herd of cattle.
An elderly woman was reportedly hit by a stray bullet during the attack.
A community leader confirmed that 11 people were kidnapped, including seven members of the same family.
The victims have been identified as Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat (housewife), Fatima Yusufu (housewife), Sarah Sunday (pregnant woman), Lami Fidelis (nursing mother), and Haja Na Allah.
Eyewitnesses said the gunmen moved through parts of the town, leaving multiple bullet holes in walls and doors.
Several spent AK-47 cartridges were recovered in the aftermath.
Isapa is located close to Eruku, another community recently targeted in a similar attack.
In that incident, terrorists stormed a Christ Apostolic Church branch, killing three worshippers and abducting several others, including the pastor.
However, all 38 abducted victims from the church incident have reportedly been rescued.
