A dispute has erupted between Dayo Amusa and Lizzy Anjorin, ignited by Amusa’s son’s first birthday party and fueled by accusations, curses, and viral videos.

The drama started after a clip from the lavish celebration featuring actresses Iyabo Ojo and Mercy Aigbe surfaced online. Observers claimed that a live band’s performance subtly mocked Lizzy Anjorin.

In an Instagram live session, Lizzy launched a fiery tirade against Dayo and Iyabo, accusing them of disrespect and alleging the music was a deliberate slight. She even went as far as laying curses on their children.

Dayo responded with a stern voice note on TikTok, warning Lizzy to keep her son out of any online drama.

“I do not want to have issues with you… Let this be the last time in your entire life that you will ever mention my baby’s name in your video,” she cautioned, adding that future reactions would not be online.

She stressed that she had long kept her distance from Lizzy due to her “history of public controversies” and made it clear she wanted no further association.

I’m Open to Motherhood Despite My Single Status – Mercy Eke

BBNaija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, says she’s not opposed to having a child outside marriage, insisting she wouldn’t be weighed down by societal stigma.

In a podcast chat, Mercy said she wants three children and values motherhood more than the pressure to marry.

“If it just happens, I would have my baby… Even if I don’t get married, I would still have kids,” she said.

She added that successful single mothers face far less judgment: “The women who are shattering glasses, men are begging them for marriage.”
