Osun 2026: AAC Aspirant, Ayowole Withdraws From Party Primary
The African Action Congress (AAC) governorship aspirant, Engr. Busuyi Ayowole, has announced his Withdrawal from the party’s primary election slated for today ahead of the Osun 2026 guber election.
This, according to Engr. Busuyi is necessary, pending resolution of several unresolved controversies within the party.
The guber aspirant accused AAC National Secretariat of failure to address fundamentally administrative and constructional issues.
This was contained in a statement by his Senior Press Officer, Samuel Ilesanmi.

Busuyi Ayowole has formally announced the suspension of his participation in all activities of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Osun State ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election, pending clarity and institutional resolution of several unresolved controversies within the party.
