Wike-led PDP Faction Caretaker Committee Member In Oyo Rejects Appointment
Following the appointment of the caretaker committee set up by Wike-Led factional of the People Democratic Party (PDP), in Oyo State, Hon. Oyewole Olaosebikan, who was among the appointee has declined his appointment as a member, citing concerns over the exclusion of Governor Seyi Makinde from the committee’s formation.
This is contained in a letter addressed to the party and personally signed by him on Thursday.
Olaosebikan expressed his gratitude for the nomination but stated that accepting the appointment would be inconsistent with his loyalty to the governor and the party’s leadership structure.
His words, “I hold His Excellency in the highest esteem, and I remain firmly committed to the values, principles, and leadership direction he represents.
