Makinde, Bala Set To Dump PDP For ADC — Fayose

Makinde, Bala Set To Dump PDP For ADC — Fayose

Former Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has claimed that Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, are on their way out of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Fayose made the assertion on Tuesday during a live programme monitored by an OSUN DEFENDER correspondent.

According to him, the two PDP governors have allegedly concluded plans to defect to the ADC, amid ongoing internal crises rocking the opposition party.

“I want to say to you that Governor Makinde and Governor Bala will go to ADC,” Fayose stated during the broadcast.

The former governor, however, did not provide a timeline or further details to substantiate his claim.

The comment comes against the backdrop of a lingering political rift between Fayose and Governor Makinde, who have been engaged in a public war of words over party leadership and the future direction of the PDP in recent weeks.

Neither Governor Makinde nor Governor Bala Mohammed has officially responded to Fayose’s claim as of the time of filing this report.
