Kaduna Lawmaker Garba Zingo Regains Freedom After Abduction
A member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Usman Garba Zingo, has regained his freedom after reportedly being released by armed bandits on Sunday evening, sparking relief among his family, supporters and community members.
Reports had earlier indicated that the lawmaker was abducted while travelling from Zamfara to Kaduna.
However, the Kaduna State House of Assembly dismissed claims that any abduction occurred.
Meanwhile, a North-West security analyst, Bakatsine, shared a video on X showing well-wishers congratulating the lawmaker following news of his release.
Details surrounding how he regained his freedom, including whether any conditions were met, remain unclear, as neither security agencies nor his family have provided an official explanation.
Residents were seen gathering shortly after the news broke, welcoming him back and expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for his safe return.
