The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that a presidential ticket featuring former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, would present a serious challenge to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next general election.

Speaking during a recent church service shared online, Ayodele said such an alliance would unsettle the APC and make the election highly competitive.

“It’s going to be Jonathan, Kwankwaso on that ticket, and it’s going to give APC Tinubu government a very tough time,” he said.

The cleric advised Kwankwaso to consider joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC), noting that the party could provide a platform for a strong opposition movement.

“Kwankwaso should go to ADC,” Ayodele added, suggesting that the move would help form a formidable presidential team.

He stressed that the next election would not be an easy one for the ruling party. “It’s not going to be an easy election. No, it’s not,” he said, adding that the political landscape may shift significantly before voters head to the polls.

Ayodele also claimed that the proposed Jonathan-Kwankwaso alliance could attract support from outside the country.
