Iran: Nigeria Not Safe, Says Hakeem Baba-Ahmed
Former Presidential Adviser on Political Matters, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has warned that Nigeria could face dangers amid global tensions following the US and Israeli attack on Iran.
Baba-Ahmed made the remarks on Tuesday during an interview on Trust TV, while commenting on the Saturday air strikes that reportedly killed Iran’s Supreme Leader and several top political and military officials.
He said, “Nigeria too is in trouble. We are not safe with what is going on in Iran. The world is aware that two days ago, the United States and Israel attacked Iran, killing its leader, senior political and military officers, and other citizens.

“Clearly, the United States aimed for regime change, possibly replacing Iran’s leadership or allowing citizens to choose new leaders. Unfortunately, such plans rarely unfold as neatly as leaders like President Donald Trump expect. What we are likely to witness is widespread chaos, prolonged crises within Iran and its region, and global unrest.”
