Peter Obi Officially Picks Up ADC Membership Card in Anambra
Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC), collecting his membership card during the flag-off of the Anambra State ADC registration and mobilisation exercise on Saturday.
The event drew party members and supporters from across the state. Obi’s decision ends speculation about a possible return to the Labour Party.
Earlier, the former Anambra State governor announced his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election, declaring he would not be intimidated by the large number of governors in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He added that despite several attempts to discourage him, he remained determined to pursue the race.
