The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), in partnership with digital Islamic giving platform, Imaanity have launched a campaign to feed 60,000 fasting Muslims across Nigeria this Ramadan 2026.

According to the organisers, the Feed-A-Mouth Campaign will deliver daily iftar meals to at least 2,000 vulnerable persons every day throughout the holy month, with a donation of just ₦1,500 feeding one fasting person via imaanity.com

The campaign is powered in partnership with Imaanity, Nigeria’s digital Islamic giving platform, enabling donors across Nigeria and the diaspora to fund iftar meals instantly and track the real-time impact of their contributions. A donation of just ₦1,500 provides one complete iftar meal for a fasting person in need.

Feeding the Fasting Across 26 States

Coordinated from the NASFAT Centre in Ilupeju, Lagos, the initiative extends its reach beyond a single city. The programme targets vulnerable fasting Muslims — including low-income families, orphans, widows, and the elderly — across all 26 states where NASFAT maintains an operational presence, making it one of Nigeria’s most geographically expansive Ramadan feeding programmes.

Technology-Driven Giving, Transparent Impact

At the heart of the campaign is Imaanity’s donate-and-track system, which allows contributors to make instant donations through the campaign’s online portal and monitor how their support translates into meals delivered on the ground. The platform brings a new standard of accountability to charitable giving in Nigeria’s Muslim community, ensuring every naira is traceable from donor to beneficiary.

“Whoever feeds a fasting person will earn the same reward as him without in any way diminishing the fasting person’s reward,” NASFAT noted, citing a hadith recorded in Al-Tirmidhi — the spiritual foundation underpinning the campaign’s call to action.

A Broader Humanitarian Vision

The Feed-A-Mouth Campaign forms part of NASFAT’s wider Ramadan humanitarian outreach, which encourages sustained acts of charity throughout the month. Organisers say consistent daily contributions are critical to maintaining and expanding the programme’s reach, with every additional donation increasing the number of fasting individuals who receive a meal.

NASFAT and Imaanity are calling on individuals, families, corporate organisations, and diaspora donors to participate. Donations are open to the public at imaanity.com

Notes to Editors

The NASFAT Feed-A-Mouth Campaign 2026 targets the provision of 2,000 iftar meals daily throughout Ramadan. Based on a 30-day Ramadan cycle and a ₦1,500 cost-per-meal model, the programme projects a cumulative reach of approximately 60,000 meals by the close of the holy month. Primary beneficiaries include vulnerable fasting Muslims — among them low-income households, orphans, widows, and the elderly — located across NASFAT outreach points in Lagos and participating states nationwide. The campaign is administered in partnership with Imaanity, a digital platform dedicated to enhancing transparent, evidence-based philanthropy.
