Just In: Uncertainty Over IPAC Election In Osun
•Electoral Committee Absent In Poll Venue Despite Arrival In Osun Friday
There is uncertainty over the election of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) scheduled to hold today in Osun State.
The election to elect the new leadership of the body was fixed for 10:00 a.m. However, the election has not started as of 2:20 p.m with sources noting that there are moves by some political gladiators to stop the poll.
OSUN DEFENDER also gathered that all the chairmen of political parties in the state had earlier visited the Independent National Electoral Commission office, Osogbo, venue of the election.

Documents sighted by OSUN DEFENDER showed that 18 out of the 19 IPAC members announced signed a log at the INEC office around 10:00 a.m.
However, when OSUN DEFENDER visited the election venue, only three party chairmen were sighted. Sources said the other party chairmen had left for another meeting.
Meanwhile, OSUN DEFENDER gathered that members of the electoral committee who arrived in the state on Friday, have not shown up at the venue.
