August 15: Don’t Yield To Intimidation, Undue Influence – Adeleke Tells Corps Members
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the safety and welfare of Corps members serving in the state.
This was as the governor equally urged corps members who will be participating in the forthcoming gubernatorial election not to yield to intimidation or undue influence.
Adeleke stated this on Wednesday while hosting the Osun State NYSC Coordinator, Mr Ekeng Kubiangha, and his delegation at the Government House, Osogbo.
He emphasised the importance of sustaining a cordial and productive relationship between the scheme and the state government and commended the contributions of corps members across critical sectors of the state.

“Let me assure you and all Corps members deployed to Osun State that your safety remains a top priority for this administration.
“We will continue to work closely with security agencies to ensure that you operate in a safe and secure environment. I urge you to carry out your responsibilities with diligence and integrity, without yielding to intimidation or undue influence,” he said.
The governor also applauded the existing collaboration between the NYSC and the Osun State Ministry of Youth Affairs, noting that the partnership has strengthened youth-focused initiatives and enhanced service opportunities.
Earlier in his address, the State Coordinator, Kubiangha, expressed appreciation to the Governor for his youth-friendly disposition and sustained support for the Scheme.
