The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said that the political future of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will ultimately be determined by voters in Northern Nigeria rather than campaign strategies or political branding.

Speaking in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), by @ChuksEricE, the cleric asserted that the North holds the decisive power ahead of any potential second-term bid by the president.

Northerners have not started with Tinubu; they are the ones that will decide his future,” Ayodele said.

“One billion Yoruba cannot decide his future that maybe he will win. The Northerners will decide, and their decision is for him not to win.”

The outspoken religious leader further dismissed the impact of political slogans and public campaigns associated with the president, insisting that such efforts would not influence the final outcome.

“All this noise they are making cannot make him win. ‘City Boy’ cannot make him win,” he added.

Ayodele also stressed that, beyond divine will, the region remains the most critical factor in determining the president’s re-election prospects.

“It is the North that will decide Tinubu’s second time after God,” he said.

His remarks come amid ongoing political discussions and alignments ahead of upcoming 2027 general elections.
