2026: Salinsile Dissociates Self From List Naming Him As Accord Elders’ Caucus Chair
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress in Osun State, Alhaji Razaq Salinsile, has distanced himself from a purported campaign list of the Accord party where his name was listed as the Chairman, Accord Elders’ Caucus, Osun State.
In a statement he personally signed on Sunday, Salinsile, said he has never been a member of the Accord Party at any point in time, nor has he held or accepted any position within the party.
He reiterated his alliance and commitment to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the progressive political ideology of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola.
“My attention has been drawn to a publication currently in circulation, wherein my name, Alhaji Razaq Ayobami Salinsile, was erroneously listed as the Chairman, Accord Elders’ Caucus, Osun State.
“I wish to state clearly and unequivocally that I have never been a member of the Accord Party at any point in time, nor have I held or accepted any position within the party.
“This inclusion is therefore false, misleading, and does not reflect my political affiliation or personal conviction.
“For the avoidance of doubt, I hereby reiterate my unwavering alliance and commitment to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the progressive political ideology of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola’s school of thought, which I have consistently identified with,” Salinsile stated.
The ADC chieftain urged the general public, political stakeholders, and members of the media to disregard the said publication in its entirety.
