NASS 2027: Group Commends APC On Emeka Atuma’s Nomination As Senatorial Candidate

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD), has commended the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for upholding the people’s mandate and internal democracy within the party in fielding Rt. Hon Emeka Atuma.

The forum whose membership is drawn from the seventeen(17) local government areas of Abia State, appreciated party members for the overwhelming support given to Rt Hon Emeka Atuma during the party senatorial primaries held for Abia central zone.

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) made the commendation in a press release made available to newsmen on Saturday in Abuja.

The release by the forum was signed by the Chairman, Surveyor Samuel Aguiyi and Secretary-General, Amb Chinedu Emereuwa.

While commending the party leadership for considering competence and grassroots acceptance in arriving at its decision on Abia central senatorial ticket, the forum described Rt Hon Emeka Atuma as the best man for the plum legislative job, having demonstrated capacity then as a member of the house of representatives.

According to the forum, “the confidence and widespread acceptance Rt Hon Emeka Atuma enjoys among the electorates in Abia central senatorial district will turn into electoral victory for APC in next year’s general election.

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) described Rt Hon Emeka Atuma ‘s emergence as the APC candidate for Abia central senatorial district as the begining of a new chapter of progress and purposeful leadership in Abia central.

“We believe Rt Hon Emeka Atuma has the wherewithal to drive development and uplift rural communities in Abia central senatorial zone, through the attractions of meaningful infrastructural projects and provision of essential amenities across the senatorial zone when chosen in the coming election as next senator representing Abia central district.

“Aside from attracting essential socio-economic and infrastructural projects, it is not in doubts Rt Hon Emeka Atuma will make a difference by sponsoring resulted -oriented motions and impactful bills, and make development-oriented laws which will strength all relevant institutions of democratic governance in Nigeria when elected into the red chamber of the national assembly.

The southeast forum therefore pledged to deliver bulk votes to APC to ensure the victory and emergence of Rt Hon Emeka Atuma as the senator representing Abia central senatorial district at the upper legislative chamber of the national assembly come next year’s elections in Abia state.
