Abdullahi Eager For Super Eagles Send-Off “Party” Vs DR Congo

Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi is keen to see the team end their preparation for the 2018 World Cup in Russia on home soil with a win against Democratic Republic of Congo in Monday’s friendly fixture.

The encounter against the Leopards is billed for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

It is the only friendly game lined up for the Super Eagles on Nigerian soil ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

“Matchday: Nigeria vs Congo. ⚽???. Let’s have this party before Russia.
“#SoarSuperEagles,” the Bursaspor of Turkey player tweeted on Monday.

Gernot Rohr’s men are expected to leave for London on Tuesday and will face the Three Lions of England in another preparatory game at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Their final tune-up is against Czech Republic on June 6 in Vienna.

The Super Eagles will face Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D in Russia 2018.
