Actress Jumoke George’s Missing Daughter Returns From Mali After Four Years
Veteran Nollywood actress, Jumoke George, has finally reunited with her daughter, Adeola, who was trafficked to Mali four years ago.
George had recently disclosed her daughter’s disappearance during an emotional interview on Biola Adebayo’s YouTube podcast, Talk to B.
She explained that Adeola had been living with her grandmother in Ibadan before she vanished under mysterious circumstances.
Following the public outcry, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, stepped in to assist, alongside actress Biola Bayo.
Adeola’s return to Nigeria was confirmed on Monday by Dabiri-Erewa in a tweet.
She revealed that the young lady was received by herself, Biola Bayo, and actor Adeniyi Johnson.
She wrote, “Breaking! Adeola, daughter of popular actress, Jumoke George, who cried out that she had not heard from her daughter in four years, is back home from Mali where she was trafficked to. Just received her, with Biola Adebayo who broke the story, and Niyi Johnson. Details later.”
