‘I Actually Thought I Was Going To Die’- Mercy Aigbe
In a recent interview with Broadway Africa TV, Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe finally opens up on her marriage issue, that has made headlines over the past few days.
She speaks on the emotional and physical abuse allegedly brought about by her estranged husband Lanre Gentry and a whole lot more.
In a part of the 36 minutes long video, the actress was asked on why she wants to leave her marriage after she had revealed that she just wanted to build her home.
She replied:
“It’s not like I wanted to walk away but I just feel like we need help. I spoke to my husband’s brother about it. I told him I was going to pack out for some time while my husband seeks therapy. I just wanted to feel safe, that is why I moved my things out. This last beating was brutal. I actually thought I was going to die”Watch the video below:
