ADC Demands Adequate Security Ahead Ekiti Primary
The Ekiti State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has urged the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to provide adequate protection for its members during the forthcoming party primary scheduled for November 6, 2025.
The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon. Olugboyega Aribisogan, made the appeal while inaugurating local government executives in Ido-Ekiti, Ido/Osi Local Government Area.
Aribisogan said the call became necessary following rising tension over election safety and allegations of intimidation by the ruling jordan luka 3 colorways release dates All Progressives air jordan 11 cherry holiday 2022 Congress (APC).
He alleged that political thugs loyal to the APC recently attacked the ADC secretariat and injured several members, describing the act as a dangerous threat to democracy.
“We have petitioned the Inspector General of Police over the burning of our secretariat and the assault on our members. Ekiti people reject the APC’s anti-democratic tendencies. The state cannot be turned into a one-party enclave. The ADC remains the credible alternative and the voice of the people,” he said.
The ADC spokesman, however, noted that the police had assured citizens of their readiness to ensure peace during the exercise.
He advised members to stay vigilant, report suspicious activities, and work with security agencies to safeguard democracy in the state.
Aribisogan also urged all security agencies to intensify operations against nike zoom field general turbo green white black Hot Punch Mismatched , GmarShops Marketplace , buy star fitness buy Panda nike buy new balance buy Panda nike golf football political thugs and the so-called government “killer squad” allegedly terrorising the state.
