In what many have described as a public embarrassment unbecoming of her status as a political appointee, Laide Bakare, a Nollywood actress and serving as Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, was seen engaging in a heated exchange with fellow actress Eniola Badmus, at a public event in Lagos.
The incident occurred on Sunday at the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s much-anticipated movie, Owanbe Thieves, held at Filmhouse Circle Mall, Jakande.

In video clips now circulating on social media, Laide Bakare was captured trading words with Eniola Badmus on the dance floor, shortly after Fuji icon, K1 De Ultimate, had electrified the audience with a live performance.
Badmus, who seemed visibly irritated upon sighting Bakare, was seen leaving the dance area abruptly.
The exchange soon escalated when Badmus, in Yoruba, confronted Bakare saying, “Don’t film us together, we’re not friends.”
