OSUN State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has appointed Mr. Isiaq Awotunde, as the new Auditor-General for Local Government.
Consequently, Adeleke has written the State House of Assembly to confirm Awotunde’s appointment.
The Speaker of the assembly, Hon. Adewale Egbedun, while reading the letter at the plenary on Tuesday, said Awotunde’s appointment was sequel to the pending retirement of the incumbent Auditor-General, Mr. Emmanuel Kolapo.
He directed Awotunde to submit copies of his curriculum vitae and other relevant certificates to the assembly and appear for screening on May 7.
