Adeleke Approves Payment Of N160 Million To 6th, 7th Osun Assembly Members

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has approved the payment sum of 160,000,000 naira as Severance Gratuity to members of the Sixth and Seventh Assembly of the Osun State House of Assembly which majorly composed of members of All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is contained in a statement by the Director Information and Public Relations of Osun State House of Assembly, Mr Laide Lawal.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Hon. Adewale Egbedun while reacting described the action of the State Governor as unprecedented.

Hon. Egbedun commended Governor Adeleke for his magnanimity, generosity and kindness which he described as unparalleled.

According to the statement, the Clerk to the Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Akinwale Amusan has since released the severance gratuities to all the beneficiaries, numbering fifty-two former Honourable Members.
