Maintains His Stand On Minister, Lawmaker

The spokesperson of Imole Campaign Council, Barr. Pelumi Olajengbesi, has disclosed that he honoured the invitation of the Department of State Service following a petition against him by some members of the All Progressives Congress.

Olajengbesi said the petitioners accused him of abusing the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr Gboyega Oyetola and the campaign Director General of the APC in Osun State, Hon. Wole Oke.

The Accord Party chieftain in a Facebook post, wrote, “I honoured an invitation at the Osogbo office of the Department of State Services (DSS) following a petition reportedly sponsored by Wole Oke. I presented myself for their investigation and made my position unequivocally clear. I was accused of abusing Wole Oke and Gboyega Oyetola in a petition sponsored by Wole Oke, signed by some individuals from his local government, perhaps they don’t know their right from their left, first on the list, one Tobi Osifila, one Kola Owoeye, and four others.

“While it is within their rights to complain, and I respect that, I told the DSS again that the administration of Gboyega Oyetola fell short of the expectations of the people of Osun State, left behind significant challenges, and that he is very, very incompetent. I also stated that I have observed that his ally, Oyebamiji, was imposed as candidate of APC in an attempt to continue the incompetence in government, which I am campaigning against.

“On Wole Oke, I made it clear that he represents my constituency, Oriade/Obokun, at the National Assembly, and that in 24 years, he has concentrated on himself and not the people.

“I further stated that after 24 years of representation, it is legitimate for me to demand answers, ask hard questions about impact, and call for a new direction. So, I do not intend to relent. And that the people of ORIADE/OBOKUN are tired and as a young man I knew early that political power is not served anywhere on the table.

“The DSS was unable to see what is criminal about my actions and advised that we take it easy. I commend the DSS for its professionalism and neutrality throughout the process, and I reiterated that they are civil servants operating under the law.

“Finally, he who has seen 99, can no longer be scared of 100. We didn’t get here by chance. And for my brother, Tobi Osifila, I hope your name was not used without your permission, but if you did wrote that poor and pity seeking petition, go and collect your pay, the job is done.

“Less I forget, I shared the video of Wole Oke threatening Osun State citizens and I advised them to invite him too.”
