Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke on Monday approved the dissolution of statutory commissions in the state with immediate effect.
Adeleke in a circular by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, noted that the dissolution takes immediate effect.
The dissolution was disclosed in a statement by the Governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, a copy sighted by Osun Defender.
According to the statement, the affected commissions according to the SSG are the State Civil Service Commission, the Judicial Service Commission, Osun State Independent Electoral Commission and Osun State House of Assembly Service Commission.
The statement noted that the Governor appreciated the members of dissolved commissions for their selfless and meritorious service to the state.
