Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, alongside the lawmaker representating Ede North, Ede South and Egbedore Local Government, Bamidele Salam, on Monday welcomed over 200 members of the opposition parties into the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State.
The decampees were drawn from the major opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), and the Action Democratic Party (ADP).
The decampees stated that their decision to join the PDP was largely driven by the rapid development the state has experienced under Governor Adeleke’s leadership.
