The Secretary to the State Government of Osun, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti, has felicitated with Christians across the State and the country at large on this year’s Easter festival, calling on all, irrespective of religious beliefs, to emulate all the virtues of Christ in their daily activities.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the senior political functionary and All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain in the state and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital.
Alhaji Adeoti enjoined all and sundry on the need to be pious and live above board, with a view to making Nigeria a better place for everyone to live and enjoy.
According to him, for the nation to move up from its current economic and political state, it’s the responsibility of all Nigerians to emulate what the Lord Jesus Christ lived and died for during his brief and purposeful sojourn on earth.
He stated that the time has come for everyone living in the country to stop heaping blames on members of the political class for all the nation’s woes and re-examine their ways of life and seek ways on how to make the country a better place for all.
“The time has come for all to re-examine our ways and seek for ways of making the country a better place for all, instead of heaping all the blames on only the political actors for the numerous challenges facing the nation,” he stressed.
