…as campaign train pulls out crowd in Adeoti’s town

The Senatorial Leader of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, Ademola Ogunmodede, has formally decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Ogunmodede was welcomed into the party by its Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun at the Mega Rally which drew out a mammoth crowd in Iwo on Sunday.
Prophetess Dupe Adebayo, Dr. Amidu Tadese and Oyelude Olalade from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were also welcomed into the party.
In his speech, the former speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello who also recently decamped to APC, stated that the PDP had been hijacked.
“If the PDP is as it was 20 years ago, I wouldn’t have decamped. Now someone who doesn’t have the party’s card is the one controlling it by 75%. The last time the party’s Chairman came to meet me in my house, I told him not to deceive me as he only has 20% control of the party.
“I have said it before and will repeat it, the PDP has been hijacked. I urge those of you who still have friends and relatives in the party to leave as the party has been hijacked.” Bello added.
Also speaking, High Chief Abiola Ogundokun, urged residents to vote for the progressives party.
Ogundokun revealed that the ADP candidate, Moshood Adeoti, was only after his selfish ambition, imploring the people not to be deceived by him but rather vote for the APC at the September 22nd governorship election.
