ADP Substitutes Deputy Guber Candidate

THE Action Democratic Party (ADP) has substituted its deputy governorship candidate for the July 16, 2022 gubernatorial election in the State of Osun.

The party substituted Mr. Adegboyega Muritala who was elected on March 10, 2022 as deputy governorship candidate, for Mrs. Sewande Agbaje. 

Muritala resigned his candidature at a meeting held at the party’s secretariat in Osogbo, on Wednesday and he was subsequently replaced by Agbaje.  

The meeting had in attendance, the governorship candidate of the ADP, Mr Kehinde Atanda, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the party Chairman, Toye Ola-Akinola and members of the party.

Muritala promised to work for the success of the party during the governorship election.

Both Atanda and Agbaje, the governorship and deputy governorship candidate of the ADP respectively, urged the party faithful to work for the success of the party in the July 16 election, saying ADP is the only party that can put smiles on the faces of Osun people with massive employment and decent working and living condition
