Following the discovery of adulterated Fuel in some southwest states of the federation, leading to the closure of most petrol stations, Osogbo the State of Osun Capital has caught the bug wIth long queues surfacing.
Our reporter who went round the Osogbo metropolis yesterday discovered that most filling stations were shut.
Motorists could be seen in long queues jostling to get fuel from a few of the stations that are opened and dispensing.
Osun Defender reporter spoke with some of the motorists who appealed to the Federal Government to find a quick solution to the issue.
A commercial driver, Mr. Mukaila, suggested to our medium that they may be forced to increase transportation fare if the scarcity persists.
Mukaila claimed to have spent over two hours before finally getting to fill his fuel tank, he wondered how he will cover the lost two hours without increasing transportation fare.
Some petroleum marketers who spoke to our reporter said fuel scarcity will persist until depots are restocked with quality and adequate products.
