The remains of Sheik Abdulwahab Banni Afonta has been interred.
He was buried at 10:12am at his house around Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo, Osun State.
Earlier, Islamic rites also known as Solat Aljanaza were concluded on the remains of the late Islamic scholar.
The prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheik (Dr) Muhammad Bashir Saliu Al-Fulani OON, and the Chief Imam of Osogbo, Sheik Musa Animasahun.
