THE Sustainable Development Goals should be at the heart of Nigeria’s economic planning. For the country of unfulfilled expectations has for long exemplified a nineteen sixties depiction of “growth without development”, “ False Starts” as well as the “Development Of Underdevelopment”.
Striving to attain the goals of sustainable development is also a way of providing at least a resemblance of a for a long time illusory dividends of democracy.
Kudos to the federal government for walking the talk by facilitating the funds for the projects commissioned under the SDG’s in the state of Osun on Wednesday.
It is with relief that we appreciate the restoration of the need for sustainable development back on the front burner.

Youth and Women empowerment and skill acquisition remains a critical pillar in the agenda of the administration.
The government of President Mohammadu Buhari, who approved the projects for Osun State received great commendations from those at the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, Princess Adefulire commended the State Government for providing the enabling environment for the successful execution and completion of the projects in the state.
According to her, the Good people of Osun state should appreciate the efforts of both President Buhari and Governor Oyetola who both fought relentlessly to ensure that the four projects were delivered on time.
