Ahmed Lawan@ 61: AGF Greets Senate President, Describes Him As The Shining Light Of Nigeria

The Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, a political group, who are propagating and promoting the political ideology of APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has described Nigeria’s Senate president, Ahmed Lawan as a shining star of Nigerian politics.

In a statement released by the Group’s National Coordinator in Osogbo on Monday, the Group said, since the assumption of office of Senator Lawan as the number three man in the country, the people can heave the sign of relief and that the dividends of democracy are now at the door steps of everyone across the nation.

The statement signed by Com. Adunni Olateju Ishola, emphasized that, Lawan has changed the narrative of governance and that people now have confidence in their leaders.

The statement, said for the first time since the return of democratic governance in 1999, Nigeria’s budget was passed before the end of previous year, which is unprecedented in the history of the country.

While congratulating the Senate president for another year on the surface of earth, the group urged him to keep supporting the government of President Buhari, in order to serve the citizens to the best of their ability.

“You should use your position to encourage the executive to do the right thing at all times, in order to serve our people according to our promises to them during electioneering campaign” Olateju concluded.
