Former governorship aspirant of the Osun Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi has officially dumped the party.
Ogunbiyi was an aspirant for 2022 Osun guber primary under the platform of PDP.
Ogunbiyi made his intention to resign from PDP known through a letter he personally signed on Tuesday night.
The letter reads, “LETTER OF RESIGNATION FROM THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP)

“Please accept this letter as a formal resignation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with effect from 28th March 2022.
“Thank you for the interactions and engagements I had within the Party over the years of my membership.”
As at the time of filling this reports, Ogunbiyi didn’t make clear which party he was going.
