Akin Ogunbiyi Formally Declares Governorship Ambition Tuesday

 

Business mogul and governorship candidate of the Accord Party in the July 16, 2022 governorship election in the State of Osun, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi will formally declare his bid to seek the top job in the state next Tuesday.

In a statement, Ogunbiyi who recently resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is said to hinge his campaign on industrialising the state through Agriculture.

The founder of the ‘Idera De Foundation also believes in the provision of free and compulsory education at the primary level and would pursue it if elected in July.

The statement added that the declaration and unveiling of Dr. Ogunbiyi’s manifesto to the people of Osun will hold at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Osogbo.

The insurance guru who is running alongside Veteran Journalist, Kunle Jimoh notes that their vision of ‘A New Osun’ is possible stressed that his wealth of experience in business will be a great impetus to boosting the economy of the state.
