The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has summoned an emergency National Executive Council meeting for tomorrow, Saturday.
This is coming following Wednesday’s night invasion of the Labour House, its headquarters.
Recall that the Department of State Service (DSS) has refuted reports claiming that its officers raided the headquarters of the NLC in Abuja.
The denial comes following Wednesday’s allegations by the NLC that the service had sent armed men to its office, and that they had carted away some documents.
However, in a new development, the NLC has summoned an emergency NEC meeting, which is scheduled to be held tomorrow by 4 p.m., to enable Labour leaders to determine the appropriate response to the invasion and related matters.
According to Vanguard, it was gathered that the meeting would be virtual.
